My Journey as a Psychotherapist

From a young age, I knew that helping others was what I was meant to do. The moment I discovered it could be a career, something just clicked. I’ve always had a deep love for people—for hearing their stories, connecting on a human level, and offering a safe, supportive space where they can be seen and heard. With a natural sense of empathy and a passion for meaningful connection, psychotherapy felt like a perfect fit for me.

I began my career in community centers, helping individuals access the services they needed. That experience opened the door to working with youth and families in the mental health field, where I focused on helping people tap into their strengths and learn tools to enhance their well-being. From there, I moved into supporting women who are survivors of sexual violence—a deeply meaningful and humbling role that shaped my approach to care.

Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of learning from every client, colleague, volunteer, student, and collaborator I’ve worked with. Each person has added something valuable to my journey.

Over the years, I’ve trained in several innovative and evidence-based therapeutic approaches, which I now integrate into my sessions. My mission is to empower, support, and walk alongside you as you move toward healing and growth.

I truly look forward to meeting you, hearing your story, and supporting you as you create the life you want to live.
